Here is a cool Starcraft 2 Protoss video tutorial made by HuskyStarcraft. I watched it two times in a row because it explains really well how to start with Protoss and how to judge your build based on scouted information from your opponent. In this Protoss Basic Opening Guide the protoss player knows that the Zerg player is going mass Roaches, and to couter that he is making Immortal rush with one Observer. As soon as he has two Immortals + sone Zealots + 2 Stalker he atacks the Zerg Player. This Protoss Strategy only works if you scout the Zerg base and see that he doesn't go Zerling rush.
