Ramaladni's Gift is a new item introduced in Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls (RoS) after the patch 2.1.0.
Ramaladni's Gift drop location can be mostly everywhere. It can drop while rifting (Greater Rifts or Nephalem Rifts), while doing bounties or quests in adventure mode. It will also be available in Seasons but on normal play as well, also hardcore mode.
What does Ramaladni's Gift do:
Use this item and select an unsocketed weapon to add a socket. This item is destroyed in the process.
When can you add socket to a weapon with Ramaladni's Gift:
* If the item does not have a socket already.
* If the item has socket (natural socket, by default - example: you get the weapon and it already has socket), you can roll the socket into another stat and then apply the socket using Ramaladni's Gift.
* If the item has socket (you changed a certain stat on weapon with a socket), you can use Ramaladni's Gift if you re-roll the socket into another stat and apply the cube after.
* Cannot add more than 1 socket to a weapon.
* Cannot enchant (re-roll) the socket given by Ramaladni's Gift.
The item can be used once, then it disappears, so make your choice wisely. Also, as I already said, it is used just for weapons!
