You've reached level 10 in Aion with a priest class and you can't decide what to chose between Cleric or Chanter ? Well, I'll try to explain this choice here.
The cleric class is the best healer in Aion. His job is to keep the group alive. He has some ofensive spells too, but not that useful to worth cast in a group. They are meant for solo play mostly. The cleric is designed for group play. If you play it solo, you most likely will hate it. The biggest advantage for the cleric choice is that you are the most wanted class in any group. In PvP clerics are not that easy to kill because of the multiple heal types. Their main weakness is that he inflicts low damage.
The chanter class is an offensive cleric. He has decent heals, but not so effective as cleric heals. He makes far more damage than cleric, and takes less damage because of th chain armour mastery. But the power of the chanter lies in their buffs. He can buff himself and the whole group. He can take the role of the healer sometimes as well as the secondary tank. The chanter is a balanced class, and you need high skill if you want to be a good chanter.
In conclusion if you want to play defensive, choose a cleric, if you want to be more offensive go for chanter class. And most importan thing, enjoy Aion.
